WAYS TO CELEBRATE
There are so many kittens right now sitting in shelters and rescues that need a loving home. Please consider opening your heart and home to a fur baby in need today!
Donate money, blankets, food and toys to animal welfare organizations.
Write your Congressman and ask that he/she support the ban of kitten mills that supply pet stores with kittens. Kitten mills abuse and exploit cats & kittens for the sake of profit.
Spend the day taking photos of your kitten and posting them on our social media pages by tagging #KittenDay
Arrange a professional photo shoot of your pet alone, with yourself or other family members.
Make a commitment to your kitten's health by giving them all natural, human-grade food, void of wheat, corn, sugar,
by-products and chemical preservatives.
Volunteer at your local shelter and offer to play with some kittens available for adoption, clean cages and litter boxes or anything else they need help with.
Have a professional safety check of your home to make sure it's safe for your new kitten.
Buy your kitten a cute sweater or a collar + tag with your name and number, just in case they get outside and happen to become lost.
In a safe and secure way, take your kitten out to explore in the garden, or leash-train your kitten so you can take them out for daily walks in good weather.
